Within the Making Media (BCM 114) subject, the most important part of this course is creating a digital artefact that truely represents your own personal desires. There are endless of possibilities, infinite amount of ideas, which almost makes it harder and more overwhelming in attempting to invent the perfect DA that would ultimately impress your targeted audience.
The aim is to create a digital artefact that satisfies your audience’s needs.
I am currently in the process of brainstorming my next digital artefact, however I have not landed on the perfect DA just yet. I am using this time to deeply reflect on my interests and what I did last semester when creating my DA that I shouldn’t do again.
That is TIME, I definitely believe I wasted some precious time that could have been vital for the success of my DA. I know this time I will start earlier.
My last DA was raising awareness and sharing eye opening facts about the sad reality of Australia’s decreased amount of koalas after the bushfires and how society can make a positive change.
This time, I have a variety of ideas but not sure what to do. Either it could be I continue with my last DA and see how far it can grow. However, I also have a big love for astrology and it is a genuine interest of mine. It is something I read everyday about and constantly research theories on star signs and who connects with who the most. I also have observed people making money out of it, for example, creating jewellery and selling it on instagram, which I think could be a really cool idea.
Anyway, while I am still trying to create the perfect digital artefact, I have many ideas and inspiration I can look at to make the perfect one and satisfy my audience’s needs. My aim is within the next week or so to know exactly what my Digital Artefact plan is
