For my Digital Artefact, I am hoping to aim my project around astrology. This is because it’s encouraged to focus on an area that you personally love which will lead to this project being interesting and enjoyable, which is ultimately why I chose astrology.
So far, my idea is to create a Tik Tok page to post fun various videos based on astrology/ star signs. Some examples may include: fun facts about each star signs, summaries on their characteristics, the compatibility between the star signs, zodiac mood boards, colours that represent the star sign, where the star signs is most likely to live/ travel, topic like this which would amuse an audience.
I chose Tik Tok to work with because my target audience is for people around my age (18 year old’s), and Tik Tok is a platform that is extremely popular for people who are like me. It also provides more of a chance for me to gain a wider audience.
I am aiming to make these videos entertaining, fun and enjoyable for people to view, as well as for me to create, particularly during this harsh period of time in lockdown.
Hopefully, I create a platform for astrology lovers to thoroughly enjoy spending their time on like me.
