For my Digital Artefact, I have generated my idea by focusing purely on astrology, which is a topic that I love to spend time on.
I have utilised Tik Tok as my social media platform, because I have noticed from other people’s Digital Artefacts in the past that it gives you a higher chance of attracting a wider audience.
My aim is to target my Digital Artefact to teenage kids from ages (14-19), which is another reason why I am using Tik Tok, as it is extremely popular for kids around those ages. It is also evident that teenage kids are really into astrology.

Ted constantly stresses FEFO (Fail Early Fail Often), which is ultimately why I had been testing if Tik Tok is the right platform for this topic.

I have uploaded a few videos, which have reached quite a few likes and views. However, I would have wanted to receive a bit more interaction between my posts and viewers.
I have noticed from my posting pattern, that my post I did at around 10am received very little likes and views compared to the posts I did later in the day. So now I have been posting from 3pm to 4pm, which seem to attract the most attention at this time.

At the moment I have posted videos focusing on astrology moodboards, who the signs are most drawn to, zodiacs who know each other from the past and more.

Overall, I believe the Digital Artefact I have generated is an enjoyable for astrology lovers and provides them with a bit of entertainment during this lockdown.
My plan is to continue this afterwards to see how far my account can grow, as well as keep on uploading fun content for astrology lovers.
